First Momentum started as the first student-run VC in the DACH area and has grown into a first round, deep & industrial tech specialist fund with >45 investments. As “Engineers by heart, investors by choice”, the team of engineers and scientists is funding the next generation of visionary founders tackling B2B problems - often pre-market or even pre-product.

Prompt Engineering in the domain of ESG Compliance with the goal of optimizing a large language model (LLM) - comparable to ChatGPT, but for enterprises. The data labeling for the LLM is performed with industry experts from banks, VC/PE, NGOs, consulting, natural sciences, etc. and on behalf of a leading German AI Company.

Concular's science-based platform addresses the construction industry which accounts for 60% of global waste and 40% of worldwide CO2 emissions. From Europe's largest marketplace for reuse building material to an Urban Mining and Circular Economy ecosystem, Concular perceives buildings as material storage for new projects. The advantages include efficient compliance, cost reductions, waste cutting, and less CO2. The goal is to transform the linear industry paradigm (take - make - waste) to becoming circular (take - make - reuse/recycle - take - ...). Supporting software growth including research, sustainable finance & ESG and strategic projects.
