System Administration consist mainly on keeping healthy our production & test environments and making them evolve to fit the needed scale, new technologies and ease the developers life. It takes around half of my time. - Manage local servers (10 of them) - Providing development and test environment - Setting up jenkins, and CI tools. - Managing tool for local infrastructure (deployement, DNS, etc…) - Manage remote severs (50 AWS-EC2 instances, 5 AWS-RDS databases). - Providing high availability (using ELB & ALB) - Easy projects and configurations deployements. - Manage remote netword (Route53 DNC, VPC) - Manage apache2 & nginx: set up SSL, HTTP2, Cache management, … - Server updates My Backend Developer position which takes the other half of my time consists in developing the core automated management of Adwords/BingAds/FacebookAds campaigns. We also provide an API for our client to manage their campaigns on a higher level. - Backend developement using Python with Flask framework - Databases communications with mongo, ElasticSearch and Redis - Providing a REST API via Swagger. - Talking to Adwords & BingAds via SOAP… and FacebookAds via REST.
