At EDANA, we promote the sustainable development of the nonwoven industry for a community of over 350 companies worldwide and advocate the benefits of nonwovens for society.

My role:

Organization of business conferences and exhibitions worldwide (up to 10 per year) - Face-to-face, hybrid and online events

- Presenting business case for each event to our Board for approval

- Finding and booking venues

- Liaising with clients & suppliers (AV, transfer, catering, translators, security...)

- Handling logistics from A to Z (prior to and during the event)

- Managing budget

- Dealing with Promotion

- Barter deals with press

- Negotiating partnerships & sponsorships

- Risk management

- Presenting post-event report

- Registrations Management

My role:

- Increasing brand awareness through multi-channel campaigns

- Managing social media strategy incl. paying ads

- Press relations

- Liaise with Animal Politics EU to synchronize our campaign efforts

Achievements:

- The Facebook page reached 18.000+ followers in a year (more than some traditional parties)

- Gained trust and consideration from the journalists

- For its first election, the party won a seat at the Brussels Parliament
