Stepped into a challenging environment and took the reins of the Sirius CMS project, a critical system for Le Monde. Under my leadership, the team and the platform underwent a transformative evolution:
- Revitalized Tech Stack: Successfully modernized and migrated from Angular to a robust React framework, while also transitioning to contemporary Node.js.
- Architectural Upgrade: Pioneered the shift to Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and enhanced system resilience.
- Team Expansion & Leadership: Grew and mentored a dynamic team, scaling from 3 to 9 developers, instilling a culture of quality and productivity.
- Client Growth: Spearheaded efforts that expanded our client base from 2 to 8, encompassing the entirety of Le Monde group and beyond.
- Journalist Empowerment: Rolled out features enhancing the work experience for journalists, from statistics dashboards to real-time post updates.
- Quality Assurance: Dramatically reduced system bugs by establishing a rigorous E2E CI, complemented by Argos Visual Testing. Achieved over 2 hours of test coverage in just 5 minutes, ensuring a bug-free environment.
- Agile Transformation: Implemented agile methodologies, incorporating sprints, continuous deployments, and more, optimizing team efficiency and product delivery.
