As a Data Project Manager within the Enterprise Architecture team, I wasresponsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and data governance acrossIT projects, with a particular focus on GDPR and enterprise-wide data handlingstandards.Key responsibilities included:IT Validation Committee preparation: Led the data assessment componentsof projects submitted for IT validation, including defining the project’sInformation Model, reviewing data flow documentation, and providingregulatory assessments across data sourcing, protection, and retentiondimensions.Framework improvement: Proposed enhancements to the enterprisedata governance framework and contributed to the evolution of the dataassessment process to better align with IT compliance requirements.Governance contributions: Escalated and formalized the integration of newInformation Entities and Business Processes required to support robustcompliance evaluations.Coordinated closely with Data Privacy, IT Risk, Security, and Architectureteams to ensure alignment with GDPR, DORA, and other cross-functionalregulatory obligations.

As Head of the Regulatory Engineering team, I led the end-to-end designand deployment of regulatory controls across BNP Paribas’ trading activities,ensuring compliance with international financial regulations such as FATCA,AEOI, and MiFID II.Key responsibilities included:Architecting control frameworks to monitor and enforce compliance on clientdata, product classifications, and transaction flows.Implementing automated regulatory checks across trading desks to supportaccurate and timely regulatory reporting.Driving cross-functional coordination with Legal, Compliance, IT, and DataGovernance teams to ensure proper integration of regulatory requirements intobusiness and IT systems.Overseeing remediation plans in response to audit findings or regulatory gaps,with a focus on sustainable compliance and operational resilience.Contributing to strategic initiatives to enhance the firm’s regulatory posture,particularly around data lineage, reporting accuracy, and control traceability.
