Amadeus Ticketing platform writen in C++ and running on Linux aims to provide all needed services for airlines to manage e-tickets and EMDs (Electronic Miscellaneous Document). Such services include creation, reissuing, actual payments but also archiving tickets data for 5 year. Involvement in code maintenance and tasks related to migration to Microsof Azure cloud.

Quantitative Analytics (QA) 100+ people team mission is to develop and maintain the QA library used to compute trades prices and associated risks for all trading desks in Barclays Capital. The library is writen in C++ and ported on both Windows and Linux environments. Involvement in quantitative analytics library rewrite for all asset classes, based on work done previously in Equities team (refer to previous role description below). Focus is given on using standard libraries such as Boost and latest C+ +14/17 standard.

Development and maintenance of library interface and persistence frameworks. Extensive support and technical help to other library developers.

Development of a generic format agnostic serialization framework used for debugging, logging and regression testing purposes (human readable format) and as base for data distribution on the computing farm (binary format). Involvement in quantitative analytics library refactoring for Equities asset class. Tis greenfield project aims to build a leaner, more agile library. Focus is given on using standard libraries like Boost, STL and modern C++ design.
