Lead Blockchain at Total S.A., one of the top French energy companies, Julien is an evangelist about the opportunities that this technology can (or cannot!) bring. He works closely with all business units to do a reality check and to dig the business value that Blockchain can bring. Along that, he helps draft open source guidelines for the company and he shares his experience in the DevOps field, especially with Docker and Kubernetes.

On a more personal side, he is passionate about Africa and travels there (West Africa) a lot to exchange with people and to share insights with local ecosystems (incubators, accelerators, bootcamp, ...). He is a true believer that a realistic use of data science can be a game changer on the continent: open data, better understanding of the "African customer" and many other things.
