Managing a team that

o advised Cargill globally to ensure compliance with all relevant IT related regulations (either governmental or industry issued)

o oversaw global date exchange with external auditors and suppliers/customers inquiring for Cargill's Cybersecurity stance.

Since the transposition of the EU NIS2 Directive in several countries where Cargill has eligible entities, I was personally focusing on making Cargill compliant with this law in their EMEA businesses.

As Global ISMS/ISO27001 Deployment Lead I was responsible for rolling out an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for Global IT based on the internationally accepted ISO27001 Standard and preparing Cargill for certification. Later on, it was decided it did not make sense to certify Cargill as a whole, but only in pockets where we could reap the business value and/orwhere it was a prerequisite for obtaining other certifications (AEO Certification in Turkey for example).

- In the different positions, as TRCM, I provided global strategic direction and leadership for technology risk management & compliance activities within the respective application groups and oversaw execution of risk assessment / compliance validation plans, in alignment with Cargill's technology risk framework (NIST CSF).

- I collaborated with IT managers in the respective groups to ensure corrective actions were prioritized appropriately and implemented and/or acceptable mitigating controls were put in place within an agreed timeframe.

- I was further responsible for ensuring compliance with specific technology regulations relevant to the businesses and in countries where their Business Platforms operated.
