Michael Rogers

I am a freelance translator with 14 years of full-time professional experience, based just outside Belfast. I work from French and German into English and am interested in collaborating with you. I have an MA in Modern Languages from St Andrews University, and an MA in Translation from Queens University Belfast, for which I achieved a distinction grade.

I also provide proofreading and post-editing services in the above language combinations, and also have experience in the copywriting of marketing and technical texts.

Having worked full-time as a translator for more than 14 years, there are very few fields in which I cannot demonstrate experience. I have translated hundreds of thousands of words in technical fields such as engineering, construction, the automotive industry and energy, as well as more creative fields such as marketing, tourism and fashion.
