Quentin Lagache

Quentin est intervenu dans le cadre de l'intégration front d'une refonte visuelle. Il a su être force de proposition, et fournir un travail de qualité tout en respectant les délais. Je travaillerais à nouveau avec lui sans hésitation.

Quentin is an experienced front-end developer with an eye for UX/UI. He also proved himself very valuable by challenging designs and proposing simplifications or improvements.

We worked efficiently together (him on the front-end, me on the back-end) to decide what data the API should exposed under which format. He has a good vision of how the back-end part is working and often made good suggestions on these matters.

Overall he's easy-going and it was a pleasure to work with him.

In a nutshell: Quentin is a highly valuable professional, and a great team member.

Always bringing positive energy to the team, he's a very nice guy, easy going, and happy to go through every single day. At the office, he'd be the one with the perfectly organized and cleaned desk, bringing up plants and caring for them to get the place even better. He'd stay calm and open even during the most unplanned and rushed times of work. Everyone did enjoy both hard working and cooling down periods with him.

There is much more to working with Quentin though! He's coming with sharp eyes, a trained mind, and deep technical knowledge of his field of expertise. In a planning meeting, he'd be the most accurate at time estimates, spot gray zones in need of clarifications like no one else, and help enlighten those in every appropriate and meaningful way. He wouldn't bother you with technicalities, yet master/price/time those perfectly, keeping complexity under control. His deliverables would consistently reach the highest level of code quality and reusability, and be pixel perfect up to the point designers would be happy with the results (believe it or not, that did happen!). He'd always pick the best tools for the job while keeping an eye on next big things, and slowly bringing those in, staying on top of his art.

As an engineering manager and technology pusher, I felt working with Quentin was a breeze: keen on learning and teaching, he built future-proof systems, helped bring our team to the next level and stay on the bleeding edge of technology. Quentin definitely ranks in the top-tier of people I'd love to hire, and work with again. I have no doubt you'll share this feeling when you'll get to work with him.
