• • Led an enterprise-wide IT landscape assessment using LeanIX tool, to map e-commerce pharmacy business capabilities against core processes and systems, to expose tight coupling between SAP ERP, CRM and related systems, and siloed workflows that were driving delivery delays and operational frictions.

• • Prioritised a small set of transformation workstreams, to address the most blocking issues first, including legacy decoupling, introduction of an integration platform, improving developer experience and data lifecycle management. explicitly linking them to strategic business outcomes and aligning closely with relevant stakeholders.

• • Defined a phased transformation roadmap with measurable short- and long-term benefits, enabling incremental technical debt minimisation while preparing the IT landscape to support projected business expansion.

• • Established and matured the Enterprise Architecture operating model ( strategy, governance , engagement ) to reposition EA from en enabler to a partner in providing clarity and risks identification that improved decisions and delivery outcomes.

• • Worked closely with the CIO, business leaders, and heads of security, data, AI, and engineering, to translate agreed high-level roadmap into cohesive engineering execution direction across the departments.

• • Established the Enterprise Architecture function from the ground up, defining the scope, governance, and operating model with leaders across PMO, operations, finance, supply chain, and security. This was tailored to the specific physical realities and the digital maturity of a multi-site mining organization operating large-scale, asset-intensive infrastructure environments.

• • Shaped the architecture for high-stakes programs, including the consolidation of ERPs (SAP, SUNEAM) to drive supply chain efficiency and the re-architecture of a monolithic security platform into Microservices to upgrade physical mine security.

• • Established standards and guardrails for a Predictive Analytics AI platform, providing insights that identified bottlenecks in gold processing and reduced fuel costs through integrated fleet management.

• • Executed an Applications Rationalization program that identified and decommissioned redundant systems, directly reducing IT complexity, cost and technical debt

• • Led and developed the Enterprise Architecture team and budget, reporting directly to the CIO and CFO to guide capital investment prioritisation in IT solutions, improving coherence across the IT portfolio.
