Hello, I'm Sayalee, a software engineer turned UX/UI designer who loves spotting hidden gaps in the market—and turning them into impactful solutions.

Having started my career developing software, I understand what we design isn’t just a pretty picture but a robust, feasible solution that can adapt to the ever-changing market.

I’ve always had a knack for identifying inefficiencies around me—whether it’s a bus stop map that confuses more than it helps, a retail strategy that chases numbers over people, or a class website with a menu so tangled it scares users away. I see these everyday problems, and I can’t help but think, “How can we make this better?” That’s where my design work begins.
Creativity is what fuels me. I love creating solutions that stand out, that competitors haven’t even thought of yet—and leave them wondering how you did it. Like in my project SecondStyle, where I turned online shopping into a playful treasure hunt giving you an adrenaline rush :

Having well travelled and lived across 3 continents, I’ve gained a global perspective that shapes the way I design and solve problems. I’ve seen firsthand how culture, markets and customer behaviours differ, giving me an instinct for how to adapt a product or a brand’s presentation to each unique context.
