Context: I'm part of the NoSQL key value team, focused on the large-scale industrialization of NoSQL technologies including Couchbase, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redis, utilizing a DevOps approach. We handle both on-premises and cloud-based deployments, ensuring server-side automation and integration of various middleware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Member of the NoSQL key-value engineering team delivering an internal Database-as-a-Service for on-prem and Azure environments.

-Design, build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt) to industrialize VM-based NoSQL deployments at scale.

-Implement fully automated provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management for Couchbase, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redis clusters.

-Contribute to the platform architecture with a strong focus on reusability, observability, operability, and cost-efficient scaling.

-Use a modern engineering stack: Go/Python, Kubernetes/Openshift/Helm, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, and GitOps workflows.

-Define and implement secret management and IAM strategies aligned with zero-trust and least-privilege principles across the platform.

Environment: Ansible, Openshift, Bash, Go, Terraform, Terragrunt, Python, Azure, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Grafana, Couchbase, Helm, ArgoCD, SAFe.

Context: Site Reliability Engineer in the Operations team delivering the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) platform — a regulated, multi-tenant system of 4 core products deployed across several customer environments and sites.

I’m responsible for availability, performance, resilience, and operational excellence of services that collectively process 15M+ messages per day. I act as the bridge between engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to keep production stable, in line with strict SLA/SLO targets, and ready for audit and disaster scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

-Incident Owner for production issues (performance, availability, service degradation): led troubleshooting, coordinated technical teams and stakeholders, and drove timely resolution for high-impact incidents.

-Performance & capacity engineering: designed and executed benchmarking campaigns on TPD services to identify bottlenecks, tune components, and ensure we meet/exceed contractual SLA/SLO commitments.

-Disaster Recovery & business continuity: maintained and evolved the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), oversaw monthly DR rehearsals, and ensured recovery procedures are documented, tested, and auditable.

-Operational automation (Day-2): automated repetitive operational tasks and runbooks to reduce manual effort, lower human error, and speed up recovery and maintenance activities.

- Built and tuned monitoring, logging, and alerting for production services; defined alert thresholds and on-call workflows to detect issues proactively instead of reactively.

- Implemented GitLab CI/CD pipelines for Operations projects to standardize deploy/release processes and make operational changes safer and faster.

- Migrated Docker images to Harbor registry to improve security, control, and traceability of production artifacts.

Infrastructure as Code: contributed to building and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) foundations so environments can be consistently provisioned, updated, and recovered.

As part of my "Alternance" contract, I have developed a solution that automate the testing of M2M services to ensure that vital services work across environments:

- creation of a complete tool to test all the vital functionalities of the M2M

- recovery of application logs

- enrichment of the administration portal with its results
