DPI217 is an NGO that brings communication support to international emergency efforts, specifically with regards to emergency architecture. Climate change is rapidly disrupting weather patterns and considerably increasing the likelihood of various natural disasters, such as floods, cyclones ans landslides. Vulnerable populations affected by such phenomena are in dire need of shelter and medical attention. Through the creation of multimedia reportages, our NGO aims at shining a light on such situations and help humanitarian organisations in raising funds through donations and increased visibility. My role as vice-President is to assist the outreach work of the president, advise on multimedia documentary content and create such content on the ground in the missions we work on.
