Took Data Architecture position to oversee data initiatives across the Organisation. Provided guidance and frameworks on data management and governance topics to help speed up developer efficiencies working with data.

Worked as Lead Data Engineer on the SAP Hanna to Snowflake Migration project. The project was started years earlier and was handed over to me oversee, reduce costs, improve performance and reliability. End of day process was critical for Energy company to make sure that effective trading decision could be made every day based on End-of-Day Process and was biggest project at the time. Reviewed Architecture of Legacy and Target Systems to understand complexity and scale of project Provided recommendations of process, tooling and resources changes Improved overnight performance of batch processing to meet SLA and avoid P1 incidents Remodelled 100TB+ tables for improved reporting that were not remodlled for Snowflake from SAP Hanna Challenged business excessive business requirements to reduce complexities that were not needed Co-developed with head of BI a data architecture to replace legacy systems at Alpiq resulting in a data architecture for the overall data strategy for Alpiq incollaboration with other technology experts.
